Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR) Facilities Support

The Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR) contract supports facility management for the world’s largest and most diverse biomedical research laboratory, serving both Army and Navy medical research missions. The scope includes project management, quality assurance, and operational and logistical support for facilities ranging up to 1,000,000 SF, located in Silver Spring, MD, as well as locations both within and outside the continental United States. This effort ensures the continuity of complex research spaces vital to service member health and operational readiness.

AFG’s Health and Sciences Division provides full project management and QA oversight for daily facility operations, renovations, and upgrades across multiple buildings. The division manages technical staff, quality control programs, compliance with federal safety and security protocols, and coordinates closely with government personnel to maintain mission-critical research infrastructure.
