AFG is providing Construction and Project Management services for the US Department of Agriculture Rural Development Office in St. Louis, Missouri.

In the summer of 2020, the General Services Administration leased 6 floors of the 42-story high Metropolitan Square building in St Louis, Missouri. Metropolitan Square is located in the center of St Louis’ legal, financial, and technological workspaces. Originally completed in 1989, the Metropolitan Square building is the tallest skyscraper in St Louis at 593 ft high. The granite and marble tower houses a total of more than 1.5M SF of office space.

The USDA Rural Development Office, previously located in Northern St Louis, will be relocating approximately 1,000 employees to the newly leased 163K SF space. AFG will be providing comprehensive

Construction Management services for the new construction and build-out of floors 1, 8, 9, 11, 12, 15 and 21 of the existing building. The scope for this project includes construction of partition walls, MEP, and all finishes for offices, conference rooms, break out spaces, copy rooms, mail rooms, storage, secure file storage, IT and telecom rooms, training rooms, wellness rooms, and more.

Due to the agency requirements for security needs, AFG will be supporting construction to enhance level of security.
