GSA Lease Administration Management Services
Federal & Defense Agencies
AFG has been awarded a contract to provide Lease Administration Management (LAM) services to the U.S. General Services Administration across a large portfolio of federal leaseholds in South Florida. Serving as the Government’s representative for lease compliance oversight, AFG ensures that leased federal workspace meets contract requirements, from initial inspection through resolution.
Florida’s federal lease portfolio is among the more structurally complex in the region. Many properties are multi-agency, with a single lease covering several tenant agencies, while others are multi-lease, with more than one active lease in a single building. AFG manages this complexity by coordinating closely with agency points of contact, lessors, and property managers to plan and sequence inspections, verify compliance with each lease’s specific requirements, and track corrective actions through to resolution, ensuring no requirements fall through the cracks between overlapping leases and stakeholders.
AFG delivers the full range of lease administration services in support of the LAM Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR). Core services include on-site lease compliance inspections, each documented on GSA Form 500 with photographs and written findings, along with deficiency identification, formal notification to lessors, and tracking through close-out. AFG also performs COR file quality-assurance reviews, maintains all documentation in GSA’s Lease Management Tool (LMT), and manages inspection scheduling, coordination, and ongoing correspondence with tenant agencies, lessors, and property managers throughout the life of each lease.
