SMPS DC Recognizes AFG with Two MCA Awards

The AFG Marketing team recognized in two categories at the SMPS DC Chapter Marketing Communications Awards.

The Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Washington DC Chapter, the nation’s largest chapter within the association for marketing and business development professionals in the AEC industry has recognized AFG with two 2021 Marketing Communications Awards (MCA).

SMPS DC’s MCA competition is designed to recognize exceptional marketing and communication teams and their unique efforts to promote architectural, engineering, design, and construction firms. This year, AFG Group, Inc., received Honorable Mention in the Social Media Campaign Category for our #DidYouKnow Campaign, as well as Honorable Mention in the Holiday Piece Category for our Thanksgiving Cookbook.

About the award-winning efforts:

  • The #DidYouKnow Social Media Campaign is a video and digital content effort to quickly capture the attention of the viewer and demonstrate the wide range of markets and services AFG covers while also providing clients solutions to everyday challenges.
  • The Thanksgiving Cookbook was a visually stunning collection of employee-submitted recipes in a 66-page cookbook aimed to bring both AFG’s staff and clients together virtually to celebrate the Thanksgiving tradition at a time during the Covid-19 pandemic when gathering was discouraged.

The AFG marketing team is proud to have worked on each of these projects and looks forward to helping AFG continue to connect clients, partners, and employees in meaningful ways.
