Kai Goodrich, CCM, CHC, LEED AP, Elected to CMAA NCC Board of Directors
Sep 29, 2018 – Kai Goodrich, CCM, CHC, LEED AP, AFG Project Director, has been elected Treasurer of the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA), National Capital Chapter (NCC).
Sep 29, 2018 – Kai Goodrich, CCM, CHC, LEED AP, AFG Project Director, has been elected Treasurer of the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA), National Capital Chapter (NCC).
Goodrich previously held the position of CMAA NCC Director of Future Leaders & Young Members for two years, and more recently served as the CMAA NCC Interim Secretary of the Board. In addition to his work with CMAA, Goodrich leads the AFG Summer Associate Program. His new position as Treasurer will include reporting to the board, ensuring fiscal responsibility, and the accurate accounting of monies received and disbursed by the NCC chapter.
With over 30 years of construction experience in both Private and Public/Government market sectors, Goodrich is a Project Director with AFG Group, Inc. and manages a project management portfolio with an emphasis on large campus facilities. He is currently overseeing the Department of Homeland Security Headquarters Consolidation at St. Elizabeths West Campus for the US General Services Administration (GSA), managing a team of construction project managers, engineers, architects, and other staff professionals in support of the $750M program.
Goodrich earned a bachelor’s degree in construction management from Arizona State University. He has led the teams that won the CMAA NCC 2018 “Award for Excellence in Construction Management” for the GSA Sidney Yates Federal Building Exterior Restoration and the CMAA NCC 2017 “Award for Excellence in Construction Management” for a major tenant renovation to the Mary Switzer Federal Building in Washington DC.
