Dan Vatandoost Accepted into SAME Maryland Leadership & Mentoring Program

AFG’s Project Manager on the NIH Quality Assurance Services Program in Bethesda, MD, Dan Vatandoost, CCM, EIT, has been accepted into the 2024 Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) Maryland Leadership & Mentoring Program (LMP).

This prestigious year-long leadership program serves to identify and cultivate talent from within the SAME Mid-Maryland, Baltimore and Chesapeake Posts to develop leaders for the future of the A/E/C profession, covering topics will include self-analysis, team dynamics, building consensus, and planning for the future. LMP participants are connected with senior-level government and industry leaders and mentors to forge lasting relationships.

Dan has 19 years of experience leading teams and applying engineering concepts to support multi-million-dollar advanced projects including state-of-the-art laboratory and research facilities, “smart” office spaces, critical infrastructure and MEP systems upgrades and replacements, commissioning, and retro-commissioning projects as well as repairs and renovations at nuclear power plants. He holds a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland.
