AFG VP, Sally Clark, CPSM Appointed Chair of the SAME SB COI

In this role, Sally will expand opportunities for industry-government engagement, represent small business interests on select SAME national committees, and keep SAME members informed on small business regulations and legislation. She will also continue for a second term on SAME’s National Executive Committee under the leadership of Cindy Lincicome, SAME President.

For over a decade, Sally has worked with and on behalf of small businesses, helping navigate the nuances of federal government contracting. To increase growth opportunities for small businesses nationwide, she has helped establish multiple Task Forces to enhance market research capabilities, is supporting the multi-year Small Business Size Standard Transition Industry-Government Engagement (IGE) effort with the U.S. Small Business Administration, serves on the Executive Planning Committee for the MegaMaryland Small Business Conference, and regularly engages in small business community activities.

As Vice President, Director of Marketing & Communications with AFG, Sally oversees and coordinates corporate and regional marketing, proposals, and communications efforts as part of AFG’s broader initiative to expand geographically their existing Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Midwest construction management market into a nationwide presence.

Sally has held numerous leadership roles with SAME including as an Elected Director on the SAME National Board of Direction, the SAME Small Business Community of Interest Conferences Vice Chair, Co-Facilitator of the DC/NoVA/Mid-Maryland Post Leadership and Mentoring Program, and is a Past President of the SAME Mid-Maryland Post. She is the recipient of the 2019 SAME Post Small Business Liaison Officer Award, the 2018 Award for Outstanding Contributions to Marketing for the SAME Mid-Maryland Post, and a graduate of the 2017 SAME DC/NoVA Post’s Leadership and Mentoring Program.
