AFG Recognized with National Small Business Award from the Society of American Military Engineers
AFG Group is pleased to announce it is the recipient of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME), 2022 Robert B. Flowers Small Business Award.
This nationwide award honors the eminent contributions to SAME by a distinguished Small Business Sustaining Member.
The firm was presented the SAME NoVA Post Sustaining Member of the Year Award (2012, 2014, 2015), and received the 2014 & 2019 DC Post Sustaining Member Recognition.

In support of AFG’s nomination, Megan Kellner, PG, SAME Mid-Maryland Post President, and Arcadis Vice President says, “I have the privilege of working with AFG Group and their SAME members who consistently go above and beyond to support SAME and its mission. The Mid-Maryland Post greatly appreciates AFG’s support through their leadership positions, young professional participation, and involvement in society activities and our local community. AFG has consistently sponsored the Post’s Team River Runner Kayaking Event in support of Wounded Warriors, Annual STEM Scholarship Golf Tournament, U.S. Marines ToysForTots Drive, and Maryland State Police Polar Bear Plunge.”
