AFG Group Awarded 5-Year Construction Management Contract by GSA Region 3

Feb 27, 2015 – Herndon, VA – AFG Group, Inc., a leading construction management (CM) firm, was recently awarded a 5-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract by GSA’s Region 3. Under the IDIQ, AFG will provide Construction Management Services throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region: Delaware, Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, West Virginia, Maryland and Virginia.

Feb 27, 2015 – Herndon, VA – AFG Group, Inc., a leading construction management (CM) firm, was recently awarded a 5-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract by GSA’s Region 3. Under the IDIQ, AFG will provide Construction Management Services throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region: Delaware, Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, West Virginia, Maryland and Virginia.

Construction management task orders are expected to involve all phases of construction with a potential value of up to $30M in CM fees throughout the life of the contract. Paul Szmurlo, AFG’s Director of Federal Program/ Construction Management Services, will serve as AFG’s Contract Executive and will oversee all tasks from predesign through post construction.

AFG has provided CM services to GSA nationwide, and currently works on both the Mary E. Switzer Federal Building in Washington, D.C., and the J.J. Pickle Building in Austin, TX. Additionally, AFG is managing a similar GSA Regional CM contract for Region 4 based in Atlanta, GA.
