AFG Awarded NPS President’s Park CMR Services

This is no ordinary project site. Supporting one of the most recognized landmarks in the world comes with a unique set of demands — and our team is ready to meet them. Our scope includes on-site construction inspection, contract administration, schedule updates and reviews, submittal and RFI tracking, and progress reporting on a daily and weekly basis, all while coordinating closely with the U.S. Secret Service and other stakeholders to ensure construction activities proceed without disruption to the White House and its grounds.

The program has been developed to allow for better advance planning, construction scheduling to accommodate site activities, and better coordination to take advantage of current activities. This program addresses a backlog of restoration and rehabilitation projects, long-term utility and structural repairs for the White House and President’s Park, as well as security facilities for the U.S. Secret Service. It also includes construction projects for the White House and grounds, projects for President’s Park, and projects at related White House and USSS support facilities. Major projects on the campus include infrastructure projects, restoration and/or alteration of the historic White House fence, milling and paving of roadway surfaces, reconstruction of landscape areas, surveys to verify existing mechanical and electrical equipment and facilities, and enhancements to systems upgrades to the Executive Residence.
