AFG Awarded Nationwide 5-Year Construction Management Contracts by GSA

Oct 18, 2019 – AFG Group, Inc., a leading construction management (CM) firm, was recently awarded a complete set of 5-year CM Blanket Purchase Agreements by GSA to support the Public Building Services’ (PBS) with construction management, program/project management, lease inspection and relocation services for all federal facilities within the United States of America.

Awarded under a nationwide competition, AFG’s will now be able to provide service to all 11 of GSA’s Regions as each BPA runs through 2024. Work is expected to include new construction, building modernization, repair and alterations, historic properties, leased projects and energy improvements with a potential value of up to $25M in CM fees over the life of the contract. Services will cover GSA’s entire portfolio of buildings, courthouses, border stations, laboratories and others.

Paul Szmurlo, PE, AFG’s Senior Vice President of Federal Program/Construction Management Services will serve as Contract Executive.

The firm recently received seven (7) Project of the Year Awards from the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) recognizing their excellence in construction management services, of which, five (5) awards were GSA projects.

The awarded BPA Zones are as follows:

Zone 1:
Region 1 – New England (Boston)
Region 2 – Northeast and Caribbean (New York)
Region 3 – Mid-Atlantic (Philadelphia)
Region 5 – Great Lakes (Chicago)

Zone 2:
Region 4 – Southeast Sunbelt (Atlanta)
Region 6 – Heartland (Kansas City)
Region 7 – Greater Southwest (Ft. Worth)

Zone 3:
Region 8 – Rocky Mountain (Denver)
Region 9 – Pacific Rim (San Francisco)
Region 10 – Northwest/Arctic (Seattle)

Zone 4:
Region 11 – National Capital Region (D.C.)
Central Office (D.C.)
