AFG Awarded Byrne Courthouse Roof Replacement CM Project
AFG is performing a digital kick-off for the Byrne Courthouse Roof Replacement in Philadelphia, PA.
AFG has been awarded the contract to perform CM services at the James A. Byrne US Courthouse in Philadelphia, PA. AFG will be supporting the GSA during the Ceremonial and Linkway Roof Replacement project.
Our team is utilizing the latest in technology to plan a digital kick-off for this project. Many of the key stakeholders on the Byrne Courthouse project and in Region 3 are currently working remotely, and AFG is working to ensure smooth transitions during this unusual time.
The Byrne courthouse, originally completed in 1975, had been showing signs of deterioration in the roof. An infrared study in 2014 showed multiple areas of wet installation where the roof above the Ceremonial courtroom and the Linkway. This project will include roofing replacement in both areas, with AFG assisting with inspections, reviews, sustainability services, stakeholder coordination, and cost management.
