AFG awarded 5 Year NCI CQM for Frederick National Laboratory
The National Cancer Institute has awarded AFG a 5-year BPA contract for CQM services in Frederick, MD.
Under this Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) contract, AFG will provide the National Cancer Institute (NCI) with Construction Quality Management (CQM) support services for their extensive refurbishment program in Frederick, MD.
These services will be performed on buildings within the Frederick National Laboratory, which includes both Government Owned-Contractor Operated and Government leased buildings. NCI-Frederick is a thriving community of dedicated biomedical researchers, laboratory technicians, and support staff with over 2,800 individuals working tirelessly to advance cancer research.
This large-scale program encompasses a wide range of design and alteration projects, including laboratories, warehouses, vivariums, and additional office and research spaces. From minor repair and alteration projects to large scale renovations, AFG will be providing comprehensive CQM services including pre-planning, design management, procurement support, construction management, commissioning, activation, and close out.
