AFG Appoints Jerrold Dinkels, PE Vice President, NYC Regional Office

Previously serving as AFG’s Director of Program and Construction Management in New York City, Jerry led the firm’s expansion over the past few years into more diverse clients. Jerry’s new position will allow him to directly oversee AFG’s growth plans based out of the NYC office, including operations, business development, and ensuring quality client support throughout the metropolitan New York and Tri-State areas.
Jerry has over 45 years of professional experience in delivering program, project and construction management services, retiring from the Port Authority of New York/New Jersey in 2005 where he led their World Trade Center Capital Projects Group. Since then Jerry held similar positions for both large and small private engineering and construction management firms. Since joining AFG in 2016, Jerry has led AFG’s New York operations supporting the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs, the U.S. General Services Administration, and numerous local New York City agencies, including New York Housing Authority, Department of Design and Construction and Department of Environmental Protections.
