‘Accelerating an End to Dementia’ – NIH Highlights AFG’s CARD Project

The NIH publication, ‘The Catalyst’, features AFG’s CARD project in Bethesda, MD.

AFG is serving as the Construction Managers on the new National Institutes of Health Center for Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias in Bethesda, Maryland.

Led by Christina Weaver, CQM, and Marcos Miranda, cGMP, CCM, LEED AP, as Project Managers, AFG is working rigorously with NIH to bring this project to a smooth close. As of July 2021, 48 out of 65 total modular units have been set.

The project is expected to reach completion in early 2022, and will include laboratories, offices, and conference rooms over 24,000 SF to accommodate a revolving cycle of independent research specialists.
