History

Originally founded in 1990 as the ANADAC Facilities Group, AFG began providing project and construction management services to a variety of federal facility owners and operators.

In 1990, the General Services Administration awarded AFG with its first major project and construction management services contract in Washington, DC. Clients included the White House Projects Office, National Institutes of Health, Smithsonian Institution, and the US Postal Service.

Continuing to the late ’90s, AFG began serving the World Bank and the US Agency for International Development. AFG conducted procurement audits and training; construction consulting; and training in the construction acquisition in the former Soviet Union. Initial countries included Albania, the Czech Republic, the Republic of Slovakia, and the Russian Federation.

In 2000, AFG Group became an independently owned and operated woman-owned small business. AFG continued to specialize in providing a broad range of professional program and construction services as well as relocation planning and move management support to public and private owners.
