The Walter
Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR) consolidated 20 locations from
around Maryland and the District of Columbia to the new site in historic
Forest Glen, MD.
The
new research includes laboratories, conferencing centers, classrooms, a
research library, and a state-of-the-art auditorium with
telecommunications and audiovisual capabilities. Removable seating in the
306-seat auditorium will allow multiple uses by WRAIR and the local
community.
