Since 1998, AFG has been providing comprehensive project management and construction management services support to the National Institutes of Health, Office of Research Facilities. Specifically, AFG has supported the Construction Management Branch and Capital Projects Division (CPD) in their renovation and construction programs. One of the key areas where AFG has assisted NIH is cost estimating. This support has included the preparation of government estimates, independent government estimates; and the evaluation and analysis of architects & engineer estimates, construction contractor estimates and supplier estimates. Since the start of the current contract, the AFG cost estimators have provided over 200 detailed cost estimates and analyses.
