Since 2006, AFG has been providing program and facility managmenet services to the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Office of Research Operations for their 1,000,000 SF complex including bio-medical research laboratories and administrative spaces. Services include architectural and engineering management support, pre-design, planning, project management, monitoring and oversight, and relocation management. Examples of project work include:

NIAID Intramural Administrative Management Branch (IAMB)
The new 7,000SF space, including 35 offices; scope included complete interior demolition and renovation, and new workstations and systems furniture.

NIAID Fernwood Building Federal Office Space Build-Out
Approximately 32,000 SF of space was included in this four-phase renovation and consolidation effort. The new space will occupy four programs, 110 staff.

NIAID Building 6610 Rockledge Drive Consolidation, Renovation Upgrade
Upgrade covered five floors, six phases, 127,000 SF; and a swing space of 31,000 SF. Occupancy increased from 478 to 715.

NIAID Relocation & Move Management Services
AFG has managed hundreds of laboratory renovations and relocations that have occurred on the NIH campus.
